So do you remember the amazing weather we had this past Thanksgiving (2011)?  Well I got to enjoy the weather in an amazing way!  I was so thankful to be able to play the harp for this couples wedding ceremony & cocktail hour.  They had their ceremony inside with candles all around to create a very romantic and intimate ambiance.  Than it was followed by a lovely cocktail hour/reception where all the guests decided to forgo the indoors and ventured out onto the patio…look at the view I had while playing for the cocktail hour….yes I was VERY thankful for this day!

This is where I sat and played while enjoying the view…it hardly felt like work and the guests were so relaxed it was perfect!

I didn’t get to meet this couple prior to the wedding day as they were on a ‘world tour’ while also trying to plan their wedding.  They day went perfectly so they must be great planners but they also have great parents who helped them.  I met the grooms parents who were very lovely as was everyone I met at the wedding so it was great to not only have a great view but to be in great company.  This couple had a very interesting idea for their center pieces (however I forgot to capture it in a photo..sorry).  They used something that represented each country they visited on each table.  So for example one table was China so they had an orchid and so on.  This was also reiterated with a picture of themselves in the country they named the table.  I am sure they will have lots of great stories to share with their families and friends for years to come!
