This was a gorgeous morning at the Manor by Peter and Pauls. This lovely couple choose to getting married early to avoid the heat of an afternoon outdoor wedding. I definitely appreciated that. I was able to find a spot of shade under the tree and enjoy the quietness of the ceremony set-up and the swan while tuning my harp and watching a few early guests arrive along with the nervous groom.
Playing the harp at outdoor weddings is lovely and does present some challenges but it is usually worth it. Not many people get to work outside and enjoy the landscapes in an evening gown while playing such a majestic instrument such as the harp. This is just one of the perks of being a wedding harpist on a nice day and being able to play my harp outside as entertainment for a swan is every harpists dream…(joke).
The setting at the Manor by Peter and Pauls is so romantic as were the couple the harp was very suitably the best instrument they could have chosen for their ceremony and cocktail hour to follow.
